Today I'm gonna talk about the public health service because I think you couldn't imagine what it's running here...
First of all, I want to explain our public health service: Every month people who work (something a bit hard now) must pay about 300 and 550€ with a regular salary of 1400€ (net earnings) so we could say we must have an excelent health service. Maybe it was some years ago, but since the crisis broke down the situation has changed. I'm gonna write my case:
8 months ago I had a shoulder's dislocation and recently it became a problem, so I went to the doctor the firsts days of September. They wanted an ultrasound to check what wrong, so yesterday I finally got the results in the fifth visit. I had a fissure in an arm's bone so they requiered an MRI (Magnetic Resounance "I think it's called") so I have to go to the orthopedic and he/she would send me the MRI and I could get the results.
Everything was okey until I got my orthopedic's visit: November's 6th 2,013. I have to wait a whole year to visit the specialist who would check me again and he will authorise the MRI.
I told these kind of things to people from other countries, like lithuanian and finnish and they didn't believe me when I said we have to wait about 5 months (I was really optimistic) and they just thought I haven't any argument and I just was talking without knowing anything. Now, I really can say that, we have to wait about 1 year to have some health checkings, some of them very important. If I don't know what's wrong with my shoulder, I couldn't fix it and I could have a permament damage.
When we (spanish) talk about these things, we say: Welcome to Spain my friend...
